Are you struggling with niche selection?
This post is dedicated to help my colleagues of the John Thornhill”s masterclass
I know some of you guys have been struggling with the niche selection. Some times is not an easy decision to make because once you decide which is your niche you will have to do the research and learn the essentials and most important things of the niche selected in order to be successful.
I have a recommendation for anyone having difficulty finding the correct niche. Use your fist ebook as experience gainer and don’t seek for the profits yet. Once you have passed through the product creation process of you first ebook you should be able or at-least should be easier for you to select another niche and make a profitable product.
My recommendation is that you use your passion for your first ebook. That will make the process easier for you. Use this project as experience gainer and forget about the profit for this moment. Just dedicate your self to get used to the process. The most important thing is to get experience then the profits will come once you have dominated your skills.
Remember when you went to school or college for the first time? You first learned and did your home work and passed through all the process of learning the required skills and just after you graduated and learned what you had to learn then you went to look for a job(profits) because you knew already what you had to do and had gained sufficient experience to be a successful person.
So my recommendation to anyone who is struggling on finding a niche I say to use you passion for gaining experience and learn the most that you can of the process. As you already know lots of info about your passion you should be able to get started dominate the product creation process and then it will be easier to make a good product and look for the profits.

Very good advice, David. ast year a lot of students dropped out at this stage because they found it almost impossible to decide which area would make them the most money. It is important to write something you will not have so much difficulty with in order to learn the techniques. The rest will come, I can assure you.
Enjoy the journey.

Hi David,
Well put my friend! Thanks for the great advice.
Best regards,

Hi David
Your spot on with your observations about choosing your niche, it took me some time before I decided to write about my passion, I was too busy looking for a project that would make me wealthy first time (silly me) but now I have started writing about what I know, the words are flowing much easier!
All the best
Nick
Hi Nick – you put into words what I was thinking. I’ve been struggling with the niche selection since the assignment and just in the last few days decided to use my first ebook as an experience rather than a money maker. Thanks for confirming my feelings.

Hi David, that’s some excellent advice there my friend. I have completed my first eBook and have decided on the next 2 products, which are much more in depth than the 1st.
The trick is to not let it stress you out, we’re here for the long haul and have to learn as we go.
Great post David, keep them coming.
Regards, Barry
Excellent advice David. Your focus should be on creating the best possible product, NOT trying to make the most money. If you produce quality products, the money will flow naturally.
I have written my own blog post on this subject; “Zen and the Art of Blogging”.
Best wishes for the course, and keep up the good work.
John
Right On, brother!
I’m still not certain how this giving things away for free thing works yet but I like it, just the same.
Have a good one, compadre.
